Indian Realty Stocks are the top losers on the market today because of the negative global cues. Sensex and Nifty indices are down 5% each. Realty stocks like HDIL, Indiabulls Real, Ahluwalia, Gammon Infra, Gremach Infra, IVR Prime, Landmark Prop, Puravankara Pro and Subhash Project have touched their 52-week low.
However, Realty heavyweight Unitech is slightly away from its 52-week low Rs 135.10. Currently stock is trading at at Rs 139.50, down Rs 15.65, or 10.09%. Sources said that Lehman Realty investment in Unitech is not in jeopardy, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting NW18.
Lehman Brothers has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It says no broker-dealer subsidiaries to be included in bankruptcy filing and the company is exploring sale of its broker-dealer operations.
