Hi,

I have been allocated with 17 Reliance Power shares initially @ Rs.450. Then I got bonus of 10 shares. Now the prices is very less. So whether I can sell all my Reliance Power share even though it goes down becuase I don’t know what will be the future of Reliance Power. Please advice me.

IPO issue date is supposed to be on between 14-18 January 2008
IPO issue price band 140-155 (Face Value Rs. 10)
Issue Size to the public is about 114 Crore Equity Shares

Hello everyone,

I think everyone of you are too much excited about the Reliance Power IPO. I just wanted to warn all of you about the fact that IPO’s can fail to make money for you! History tells you that applying to IPO where you dont understand the business and proper technical evaluation of that particular company will lead to a financially sound decision. I appeal to all of you to remove the tag of reliance from that company and think of it as a normal company and judge it only by the assets it has. And then if you find the company has enough potential to create business for itself and money for its shareholders then only invest in it. Indian Market is highly immature, so invest wisely!

Wish you great profit in highly risky equity investments.

Raj, Definitely Apply in this IPO what ever possible amount you can, as this is a quality issue and u will get good returns on the long term.
