IVRCL Infrastructure Limited in an annoucment made to the stock exchanges has informed that the company has bagged three orders worth Rs. 329.32 crore from NRDA, Pimpri Muncipal Corporation and Tamilnadu Water Supply and Drainage Board.
The company has issued a statement elaborating the orders recieved from various sources, which are as follows
Two Orders recieved from Pune Region : Awarded by Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) and the value of the order is 179.12 crore and the second one is from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and the value of the order is 124 crore.
Contract recieved from Chennai Region worth 25.24 crore from Tamilnadu Water Supply and Drainage Board.

ING Vysya Bank Preferential Issue is placed to the Qualified Institutional Buyers at a price of Rs 310 per share which would be Rs. 29 discount on the average price of ING Vysya Bank shares.
ING Vysya Bank has raised around Rs 232 crore through the QIBs and these preferential allotments were cleared by the Bank’s EGM last week.

Siemens Limited in an annoucement made to the stock exchanges on November 06, 2007 has informed that the company has bagged Rs 870 million order from McNally Bharat for RINL’s Vizag Steel Plant.
Stock price of Siemens closed today at Rs. 1780 down 4.66% on the NSE.

India’s second largest two-wheeler manufacturing company, Bajaj Auto Limited on Monday has informed the stock exchanges, that the company has picked up 14.5 per cent stake in KTM Power Sports an European Sports bike maker. The total investment is valued at around Rs 300 crore.
Bajaj Auto Limited stake purchase in KTM will see both the companies jointly develop and manufacuture engines and will enable them to share dealer network.
“Bajaj Auto has acquired 14.5 per cent stake in KTM and thus becomes the second largest shareholder in the company after its promoters. This is our first step toward going global,” BAL general manager (marketing) Amit Nandi told PTI.
Shares of Bajaj Auto Limited closed today at Rs. 2394.9 down 1.18% on the BSE.

PetroChina crossed Exxon Mobile to become the World’s largest listed company. PetroChina is china’s largest oil and gas producer.
The company listed on the Shangai Stock Exchange today and on the listing the stock today rose three times from the listing price of 16.7 Yuan to close at 43.96 Yuan.
PetroChina’s market capitalization is almost twice that of Exxon Mobile (USD 488 billion).

Power Grid Corporation has bagged the Rs 42 billion Maithon-Bokara mega transmission project as per the reports available from various news sources
Maithon-Bokaro is a generation link project and was to under go the international bidding procedure for awarding the project, but later the plan was dropped as the project needs to be up before the 2010 Commonwealth games.
Shares of the Power Grid Corporation gained Rs 2.3, or 1.57% as on 2.10 pm on the BSE.

Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL), today has announced that the Board members of the company have approved to change the company’s name to Tata Communications Limited.
“The change in the company’s name is a major step in our commitment to customers, partners and stakeholders. Tata Communications reiterates a focus on the global communications business where we are a major player, at the same time, it reflects our strong heritage and leadership position in India,” VSNL CEO and MD N Srinath said in a statement.
VSNL believes that the name change would help it to leverage the brand equity of Tata group.
