Krishnapatnam Ultra Mega Power Project will be awarded to Rel Power as the company has emerged as the lowest bidder. The compnay will be awarded the project with in a few days, Power minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has confirmed to the news sources.
Reliance has placed a winning bid of Rs. 2.33 per unit for the krishnapatnam UMPP project, this is the third project the company has bagged after Sasan and Mundra power projects.

In an annoucment made by GMR Infrastructure Limited to the stock exchanges, the company has informed that GMR Energy the company’s fully owned subsidary had entered in to a joint venture with Himtal Hydra Power Co Limited based in Kathmandu, Nepal. GMR Energy will purchase 80 per cent stake in the Himtal Hydro company which is developing the ‘250-MW Upper Marsyangdi-2 Hydro Power project’ Nepal.

ING Vysya Bank Preferential Issue is placed to the Qualified Institutional Buyers at a price of Rs 310 per share which would be Rs. 29 discount on the average price of ING Vysya Bank shares.
ING Vysya Bank has raised around Rs 232 crore through the QIBs and these preferential allotments were cleared by the Bank’s EGM last week.

India’s second largest two-wheeler manufacturing company, Bajaj Auto Limited on Monday has informed the stock exchanges, that the company has picked up 14.5 per cent stake in KTM Power Sports an European Sports bike maker. The total investment is valued at around Rs 300 crore.
Bajaj Auto Limited stake purchase in KTM will see both the companies jointly develop and manufacuture engines and will enable them to share dealer network.

PetroChina crossed Exxon Mobile to become the World’s largest listed company. PetroChina is china’s largest oil and gas producer.
The company listed on the Shangai Stock Exchange today and on the listing the stock today rose three times from the listing price of 16.7 Yuan to close at 43.96 Yuan.
