Opto Circuits Bonus Issue

Opto Circuits Bonus issue news has led the stock gain more than 4.5 per cent on the NSE today. Opto Circuits in an annoucement made to the stock exchanges has informed that the Board of Directors at its meeting held on May 27, 2008, have recommened the following points

1. Payment of 50% Dividend to the share holders,

2. Bonus Issue in the Ratio of 7:10 (7 Bonus shares for every 10 equity shares held)

The above points are subject to Share Holder approval in the Annual General Meeting. AGM date is not yet known and will be announced shortly.
