Elecon Engineering which has previously announced a Bonus issue in the ratio of 2:1 that is two bonus shares for every one share held has fixed Oct. 11, 2007 as the record date.
Shares of the Elecon Engineering on Tuesday closed up Rs 8.65, at Rs 679.7 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
