According to the announcement made to Bse on Tuesday,Sterlite Optical Technologies said it has bagged a Rs 38 crore order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) for manufacturing and supplying optic cables.
The company has received the contract from BSNL to make and supply high fiber count ribbon fiber optic cables which would be used for laying a pan-India network by the state-run telecom operator.
The supplies would be completed within the next six months, Sterlite Optical said in a filing to the BSE.
